La cérémonie des Oscars se tiendra le lundi 26 avril 2021. Les nominations ont été annoncées ce 15 mars.

Dans un contexte de crise sanitaire qui a vu la fermeture des salles et un effondrement historique de la fréquentation cinématographique, l’édition 2021 prendra une dimension particulière. La date est d’ailleurs sujette à modification en fonction de l’évolution de la pandémie de Covid-19. Une chose est sûre. Il sera difficile à la soirée des Oscars d’atteindre le niveau de vulgarité et d’inanité de la récente cérémonie des César du cinéma français…
